Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for a machine-facing service.
The service
SatPortal sells rendered satellite and aerial imagery products derived from publicly available data (Sentinel-2 via Earth Search, and regional government orthophoto services). Products are delivered synchronously per call; each product's price is shown before execution and failed calls are refunded (credits) or never settled (per-call payments).
Accounts and payments
Accounts are keyed by payment identity - an EVM wallet address or a Decred payment - and carry prepaid credits denominated in USD. Payments are processed over the x402 protocol (USDC on Base; Decred over Lightning). Payments are final; credits are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. We may adjust prices for future calls at any time; already-purchased credits keep their USD value.
Acceptable use
Rate limits apply per key and per address. You may use rendered products in your own applications,
subject to the upstream data licenses (Sentinel-2: ESA Copernicus open data; regional orthophotos:
the attribution shown in the about source catalog). Abuse, probing or attempts to
circumvent payment or limits end service without refund.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Imagery derives from third-party sources on a best-effort basis; do not rely on it as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. Liability is limited to the amount you paid in the thirty days before a claim.
Operator
SatPortal is operated by a Delaware (USA) limited liability company. These terms are governed by
Delaware law. Contact: the feedback tool, or the operator address published on the
service's payment receipts.
